Nancy Bragdon

I first met Julie in the 1970s when we were both teaching early childhood education classes at Portland Community College. We hit it off immediately and have been friends ever since. We were both New Yorkers who had moved to Portland recently. We laughed at things that nobody else thought were funny. I remember we laughed a lot. Later I worked for her at Portland Arts and Lectures. She was a fun boss. I can’t believe she is gone. She leaves a huge void.
