One of my favorite gifts from her …. We would have so many conversations about politics. I told her I was hoping this young senator from Illinois would run for President. After Barak Obama announced he was running , Julie walks into my office with a life size cardboard cut out of him. She came flying in with him in hand and said “here’s your fucking guy “ I laughed so hard and was quite excited to share my space with this handsome man but my boss thought it would be best if I took him home. I was a single parent and my daughter and I would call him “the man of the house”. I would move him around and forget where I put him and catch him out of the corner of my eye and he would scare me. I would laugh and say Fuck Julie Mancini. I will love you forever Julie !
