Like so many others, I was truly blessed to share a moment in time with Julie. Not many have had such an impact in such a short period of time. I first met Julie during a 4 day business meeting. Julie quickly engaged myself and others asking questions not about work process but about me, my thoughts, my goals, my family…what I found important. She knew in such a genuine manner, by forming a relationship with me…something beyond transactional…I would move heaven & earth to support her. I learned from her in 1 short week that business…can be far more successful beyond transactional. I knew that…but I EXPERIENCED THAT IN HER ACTIONS!
Julie allowed me to help her with her bags to/through the airport or up/down stairs. (without telling me to go f* myself). She allowed chivalry while equally commanding respect…and oh did she command respect! Julie was a Classy Lady who could hold court in a board room just as easily as a bar room. I would have gladly invited her to my barbershop…to hold court.
My heart is heavy, spirits are low…but these messages and memories are hopefully comforting to family and friends. Never-to-be-forgotten
