Linda Brongo

I haven't seen Julie since June 1966, when she graduated from HS a year ahead of me. Julie was so smart, funny, compassionate, always upbeat, and a friend to everyone. As teenagers we are awkward, self conscious, do stupid things, and feel like we're the only unpopular kid in school. But Julie had a way of making everyone feel like you were special. High schools are full of cliques and drama, bit not with Julie! She was a friend to everyone. Even though I haven't seen Julie in 56 years, she always made such an impression on me. I've thought of her every time I've driven by her street, including just last week.
