Daniel Barlett

I am deeply, deeply saddened, but I also can’t help but be grateful as I think about all the ways Julie impacted so many. She was an absolute firecracker and a deeply courageous leader. She and the entire College Possible leadership team had an immense impact on my life and how I strive to communicate, enter into conflict, and lead as a whole. I’ll never forget the expletive-laced emails that would go out to all staff, or the “all corps meetings with Julie” where she passionately took on any gossip or rumors - I can’t help but both laugh and be amazed at her for these things. 

This is certainly a moment where words seem to fall short, but know I am praying and mourning with you all at CP. Julie was a special person and leader, and someone I consider to be a true role model in how to passionately lead and fiercely care for those around you at the same time. She will be dearly missed. 

I truly do think about you and the whole CP team often! Keep fighting the good fight, just like Julie did.
