I remember your family fondly for taking me in during my sophomore year of high school. [As a school homestay]

I will always remember Julie for so many reasons, but I’ll share the biggest two memories. First, I remember our evening kitchen chats, while she made dinner. For my 14/15-year-old self - these chats helped me find confidence in my own skin.

Second, when I remember Julie, I see her driving me back from music lessons, singing along to “Come Together” as loud as she could. Every time I hear this song, to this day, I think of her.

My heart is heavy tonight, but I’m lucky to have known her. My thoughts are with you.
