As a newcomer to College Possible, I always enjoyed a good Julie story. She was a legend in our office, so when I had the chance to meet her for the first time I was on pins and needles to hear what she would say. Our executive director, Emielle Nischik, introduced me to Julie when Julie was visiting the office one day. Julie didn’t say anything to me. She just turned to Emielle and said, “You hired a grown-up! Good job!” I feel honored to have a story to tell about this amazing force of nature. I only wish I had gotten to Portland sooner so I could have more. Her legacy is epic!
