So many times I sat beside Julie in stands at a track, bonded in cheering our children on…celebrating their victories, (which we didn’t always clearly understand) feeling their disappointments, (which we didn’t always clearly understand) just savoring and enjoying that we were their’s, that we were mothers, together, watching our children, our greatest gifts, with love and pure joy.
