What a loss. Julie was a wonder. Hilarious, with the funniest stories. She had a good file on who were the well behaved writers, and who were the impossibly behaved ones! And I could tell you the worst, though she kept it no secret. In any case with Portland Arts & Lectures Julie Mancini really put Portland on the map permanently as a literary city…in fact they should name the lecture series after her!
