Cargo was Julie's dealer for all things noisy and made of confetti. The bigger, louder the better, One of our favorite Cargo moments was Julie pushing through the front door at full speed shouting "Where are those great big loud things that shouldn't be legal?!"

I loved Julie deeply. Just like the rest of Portland. No one was as alive in the moment as Julie. She was the most creative person at life I have ever known. Her unabashed, unique kindness and generosity were and are legendary. Julie changed lives just by showing up and she was the most fun human…a pure irreverent joy machine. I am heartbroken and grateful at the same time. Julie was a true and pure Blessing!

Instead of candles or flowers on my Julie altar I have a big bottle of Jean Nate and Diet coke along with a hell of a lot of confetti! and a few firecrackers!
