Only Julie could yell "hey, asshole" across the room at me and make me feel cared for and excited to see her.

Soon after I started working at College Possible, in a meeting with our whole team, I said something that poked fun at her a little bit, and she responded with, "you're fired!" I chuckled and the day went on. Sometime in the afternoon, she walked up to me and said, "I fired you this morning, what are you still doing here?" I can still hear the laughter at the shock in my face. That day started a series of pranks, most notably ones involving plastic pigeons.

Thinking of you and missing you extra hard today, Julie! I will forever count the number of exclamation points in my emails to make sure I'm not telling people how to feel.
