One of my fondest memories of Julie is going to see Patti Smith at the Crystal Ballroom with her in 2013. It was a great concert and when Julie heard the first chords of "Gloria" she smiled one of her fabulous smiles, and loudly sang along "Jesus died for somebody's sins, but not mine..." I have treasure the memory of that evening, and it always bring a smile to my face. I wear the tour t-shirt (which Julie ended up buying for me because they only took cash) occasionally. I've been wearing it more often these days.

I fucking miss you Julie.

Thank you for your friendship. I think of you often, and your memory makes me smile, tear up, and fills me with gratitude for the time we had together. I love you, Julie.
