I first met Julie back in 2015, during my second term as an AmeriCorps member at College Possible. Julie was such an engaging and energetic person to work with. I remember us bringing her bottles of diet coke as gifts! Just a little over a year ago I reached out to reconnect and ask for a recommendation letter to graduate school. Julie was of course more than willing to do it. She read my application essay to get a sense of my reasons for wanting to go back to school and her response brighten my spirits - "oh so good. like really good. I have to tell you that the essay you wrote is incredibly good. like better than good. It is stunning. It got my attention and it made me laugh. You will be incredible in Graduate school." Thanks again for all the encouragement and support Julie, you will be missed by many
