[An excerpt from a letter sent to Julie from David Sedaris on April 15th, 2000]

I sometimes think I should quit doing these lecture tours and then I realize that if I'm frustrated it's all your fault. You spoiled me and I keep foolishly expecting that someone else might work as hard as you. I hope you know that everyone talks about you with great affection and appreciation. I really really really look forward to seeing you again in the future.
